Aliens in the Rockies VIII


Join us for the 8th annual Aliens in the Rockies Paintball Scenario game on August 24-25th.
Aliens is a 2 day scenario game with tons of paintball action for players of all skill levels from the newest player to veteran teams. This is a family friendly paintball event for all ages. Kids 14 and under play free with a paying adult. Players can take flags, complete missions, locate objectives or just shoot people in a target rich environment.

Cost: $45 per player, pre-paid, $60 onsite. Registration includes Entry, Air/CO2 and for prepaid players a free event T-shirt.

Paint $45 per case for field paint $55 per case for Tournament grade paint, prepaid.

Location: Logan Scenario Field
3950 South 500 East, Logan Utah.

Camping & Hotels: camping onsite is free and Hotels are available in Logan, Utah within 10 min of the field.

Meals: Catered meals are available for Friday dinner, Saturday Breakfast & Lunch, but must be prepaid so we can order enough food.

I'll be going this year and to what I have heard of it, It should be fun. About 300+ people. About 5 guys from Soda Springs and Ime are going down. Cant wait. ;D

Well of course I am going but I will be a ref. As will about 4 more from pocatello and 5 from Twinfalls

To what I understand its to be a very large game. someone told me its about 500 this year but that might just be them talking. So I guess I'll see when I get there.

Ended up being about 400 people. Still thats a big game. I found myself enjoying the game. Insain firefights, and the also large number of units rushing through the fields. Just one unit would make a good turn out for a weekend game. Some of the coolest Paintball guns I have seen showed up. And I couldnt tell at the night fight but I could of sworn I heard a gattling gun or something going off. Sounded like it was putting out 50+ BPS. I dont know.
I was on the Marines and we did a good job. Favorite parts is when you get 30+ people all at once yell hoora before a hill attack. Really gets you pumped up and I dont think the Mercenaries enjoyed that sound much. At the end We still lost do to a spy that stole important items from the General. And my hat goes off to the team that came from the pass that showed up there. I found that they really knew what they were doing and got it done. Hope you guys go up next year. Key Team. I'd most denfeinty do that again.

The only 2 downsides.
1. Join as a team. If you dont your sort of in the dark on missions that need to be carried out.
2. The younger Refs really needed to be replaced. I'm sorry but there were so many verbal attacks of who hit who, and wippers where present with a ref near by and they just looked at the ground kicking rocks wishing they were home playing their PS3 or something. Need to get people that really want to do their jobs.
