It is officially game time. You true die hards have been out already this year, I've seen some activity at the AMI bunkers, but have yet to take a trip down to Stinker. I announced in my ward and to others in the University Stake that we are officially starting for the season. I like 7 am as a start time.

Not to be biased, but I did tell everyone that we should play at AMI this Saturday. I look forward to a great season. If anyone has questions or concerns please email me at yungmoose@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Marshall

Hey Marshal, good to finally hear from you this year. I am trying to make it up to Pocatello this weekend, but I think I am going to vote for Stinker Station. That place just rocks! I haven't played at Kraft Road, and AMI is always great, but if we start pulling big numbers, then Stinker is the way to go. AMI is great for 10 people or less, anything else needs to go somewhere bigger. Oh, let me just put a plug in on the voting thing. I don't know about anyone else, but I look at the votes to make a guess on how many will show up. So.... no voting twice!!!! Also, I like to think that a vote is kind of a commitment to be there. :) Anyway, I don't like too many rules, but I just thought I would mention that. ::)

I should be there with my 15 year old nephew. We played Kraft Road with a couple of people from this site a couple of weeks ago, and it is better than AMI. We were in some trees and bunkers, and Rocks next to a park over there by Kraft Road, one of the better places I have played around Pocatello. AMI is good, but this was more enjoyable.

I think it's good to play AMI at the beginning of the season while everyone is still just starting. I LOVE STINKER STATION!!! I really wish we could play there every week, but for the first week or so, I think more people know about AMI and therefore more will come. Really though, AMI is not even close to the best place to play.

I played there last fall with some friends. I was not impressed at all. Being in the Army for 18 years, I am used tot he ability to make greater flanking movements and ambushes, which is not the purpose of the AMI field. There are a couple places up Mink Creek that is good for that as well. Went there for an EQ camp out last fall, really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I will only be here for an additional 6 weeks before I have to move to Boise so my wife can finish her Doctorate, so I will not be able to PB with you all this summer.

AMI for me is too small. I agree with dochooah its just not big enough for flanking and is really limited on game types. I was going to try out Kraft RD but didnt get the chance. Stinkers is great if you get back there aways, away from the sage brush.
